Yesterday for lunch I made an egg salad sandwich, with vegan “mayonnaise”, and then I stopped to reflect and laugh at myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I try to explain to people sometimes that I’m a former vegan with some very curious eating habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I buy vegan butter, vegan mayo, mysterious meatless products, milk alternatives, and there are always several packages of tofu hanging around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t eat tofu or milk alternatives as substitutes, I just like them. These choices aren’t a habit, they are preferences, just like I prefer to put eggs in my egg salad sandwiches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
